Ingredients
Yield: 6 servings
- 1 (14-ounce) bag coleslaw mix
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 3/4 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Method
Turn the vegetables. Tip in the coleslaw mix and sliced green onions to a large mixing bowl and toss briefly to combine.
Make the dressing. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar (or honey), Dijon mustard, celery seeds, salt and pepper until smooth and well combined.
Mix Tip the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until evenly coated.
Chill. Lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving so the cabbage softens slightly and the flavors meld.
Check the seasoning and adjust. Give the slaw a quick toss and taste before serving. Adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper or vinegar if needed.
